Overview
StudyNook is a production-ready library study room booking platform developed to simplify room discovery and reservation management for students and library patrons. The platform enables users to browse available study spaces, search by keywords, filter rooms by amenity filters and price range, and view detailed room descriptions before making a reservation. User authentication is secured using Better Auth, supporting both Email/Password login and Google OAuth with JWT token management to protect user routes. Through a dedicated user dashboard, patrons can create, view, update, and cancel their study room bookings in real time. Built on a decoupled architecture, StudyNook connects a Next.js frontend styled with HeroUI, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion to a RESTful Express.js and MongoDB backend for reliable data persistence and responsive user interactions.
